Trend Watch: Spring & Summer 2026

Trend Watch: Spring & Summer 2026

We just got back from one of our two annual buying trips to New York and wanted to dash off a quick note to our clients about what's new and cool in lingerie! It takes a ton of preparation on our part, on the part of the Javits Center and Home Studio, and the brands and reps. We're already getting ready for the next one (our always-on support guy, Jeffrey, is making appointments right now).

As we always tell our clients, lingerie is a very traditional and very conservative industry. Unlike fast fashion, where there are dozens of microseasons every year, lingerie still adheres to the two collection plus resort standard that used to be the norm. Because lingerie is complicated to make and the materials are expensive, brands (and stores!) need to play it safe. Most of the lines we work with don't make items they didn't get enough orders for, or they'll cancel an item everyone was excited about if there was a sudden fluctuation in the cost of elastic or lace. Since it's a pretty traditional, conservative business model for all parties involved, we really just have two opportunities a year to stock up on stylish fashion pieces. It's a pretty high-stakes weekend for all of us, but it's also really fun.

Here's what we noticed when we hit up Curve New York and Evolution New York earlier this month!

Olive Green & Dusty Rose

It felt like almost every collection we saw had at least a little of one or both of these. We were particularly excited about a metallic olive set from Aubade and a Panache balconette that had a sandstone quartz vibe to it.

Monowires

You know how most underwire bras have two separate wires, one per cup? Imagine if it just...didn't. Instead of two wires, these bras have a (gently) W-shaped wire that goes all the way across. We only saw this in fashion-forward pieces and to be honest, it's really only going to be comfortable for our small-bust clients, but we picked up a couple we thought were fun. We already have this one from Aubade in stock; no surprise they're a trendsetter!

Anniversary Sets

No, not your anniversary, the bra! Two of our brands are celebrating major milestones for beloved ranges: Simone Perele and Marie Jo! We won't give too much away, but they're planning something special and so are we.

Citrus

When life gives you lemons, embroider them on your bra. We saw a ton of bright yellows, greens, and oranges, and we picked up lemon-themed sets from Mey and Cosabella (already here!).

Less is More

After a chaotic few years with the, well, everything, a lot of lines had gotten a little bit lost. This season, we saw much smaller arrays that were very, very strong. Instead of showing us a 20-piece collection with ten "meh" things, five amazing ones, and five afterthought recolorings, we saw five-line collections that were so good we could hardly choose.

This is far from an exhaustive list of what's to come for next season! We're really excited about what we bought for you, and we can't wait until it starts to drop in December! Stay tuned.
